LeBron James is putting up some pretty spectacular numbers for the Miami heat this season and is certainly one of the top candidates to win another NBA MVP award. With the injuries that Dwyane Wade has been through this season, James and Chris Bosh have really had to step up, proving why both players deserve to make the Eastern Conference All-Star team as well. As for the MVP race, James is clearly the leading candidate through the first third of the season.
Coming into Saturday (Feb. 4), James is second in the league in scoring at 29.2 points per game. He is just barely behind Kobe Bryant and his 29.5 per game, but could easily catch him with a few good games or a few bad ones by Bryant. James is also averaging 8.5 rebounds and 7 assists per game,
