Surprisingly, Heat forward James Jones is almost looking forward to the Heat’s gantlet of three games in three nights. He said on Sunday that he would rather play all three games on the road than breaking them up between home and the road.
“It’s tough, but you can say it’s consistent,” Jones said. “Instead of having home back-to-back where your schedule is off, you come in, you play a game and then you fly right out to another city at 3 a.m.”
The Heat departed Atlanta immediately following Sunday’s game and plays the Milwaukee Bucks at 8 p.m. Monday. From there, the team heads to Indianapolis for a 7 p.m. Tuesday matchup with the Pacers.
